Our History
The BUSINESS EQUIPMENT COMPANY was founded in 1938 by several friends. The small company struggled to find its identity as it began to serve local businesses within the San Antonio and surrounding South Texas area.

Not only did the firm have to face the typical challenges common to most new business enterprises; but BESCO was also confronted with
the dual mega-trends of its time. i.e. the last few years of the great depression and the gathering storm clouds of World War II.

In 1943 the McCarley family obtained total ownership of the firm. Since that time BESCO has been steadfast in its desire to provide the best values available in office and institutional furnishings as well as filing and record keeping systems.

The company's commitment to providing the very best in personal service has led BESCO to become a "TRADITION " in its field since the 1940's.
