THE POOL MANAGER, BOARD MEMBERS, AND
LIFE GUARDS ON DUTY WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE POOL,
PICNIC AND PLAY AREAS, AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF THE ALL POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
(To include, but not limited to):
1. Members and Guests MUST sign-in at the concession
stand before entering the pool area. Guests may not stay
at the pool after the member has left. Guest fees are to
be paid at the concession stand before guests enter the
pool area.
2. All children who are non-swimmers
and/or are the age of 12 or under, will not permitted in
the pool area without an accompanying responsible person
(at all times) fifteen (15)
years or older, who MUST BE A MEMBER.
3. Lifeguards must be notified
immediately of ALL injuries and an injury report must be
written; these forms will be kept at the concession
stand.
4. No Glass Containers, of any variety,
will be allowed on the premises.
5. No Animals will be permitted in the
pool area; with the exception of guide dogs.
6. All persons on the pool premises will
be required to adhere to pool rules as posted and
penalties therein. The Pool Manager (LVCA Pres.) can
suspend and/or revoke pool privileges for the violation
of any rules and regulations.
7. The baby pool is only for children
under the age of six (6). All children using the baby
pool must be directly supervised by an adult who must
remain beside the pool at all times.
8. Young children must wear Little
Swimmer-type diapers or diapers with secure-fitting
plastic covers. If a child defecates in the pool, the
parent/guardian may be fined up to $300, per incident,
for the cost of additional chemicals needed.
9. The Pool is not a babysitting
service. Parents will be called to pick-up any child who
is too young to be at the pool by themselves or who does
not follow the rules. Extreme behavior may result in
suspension of all pool privileges.
10. Proper Swimwear is Required. Shorts,
cut-off shorts, and undergarments are not allowed (for
males or females) in the pool. This is a family-friendly
facility and as such, overly revealing swimwear will not
be allowed (a cover-up will be required to be worn over
any such suit).
11. Violence, the use of profanity, and
improper conduct will result in the suspension and/or
revocation of privileges. The Leon Valley Police
Department will be contacted, if necessary.
13. Any concerns, complaints, or
grievances should be directed, in writing, to the
President of the Pool’s Board of Directors for
resolution; these forms will be kept at the concession
stand.
14. The Board reserves the right to deny
membership privileges for the betterment of the
membership at large.
