THE POOL MANAGER, BOARD MEMBERS, AND LIFE
GUARDS ON DUTY WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE POOL, PICNIC AND
PLAY AREAS, AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF
ALL POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS (To include, but not
limited to):
1. Members and Guests MUST sign-in at the concession
stand before entering the pool area. Members must have
their membership card with them as verification of their
paid membership. Guests may not stay at the pool after
the member has left. Guest fees ($5.00 per person –
swimmer and/or non-swimmer) are to be paid at the
concession stand before guests enter the pool area. **If
there is no one at the concession stand upon your
arrival, you must check-in at the concession stand and
pay your guest fees ($5.00 each) as soon as the next
swim break is called.
2. All children who are non-swimmers and/or are the
age of ten (10) or under, will not be permitted in the
pool area without an accompanying responsible person
fifteen (15) years or older, who MUST BE A MEMBER.
3. Lifeguards must be notified immediately of ALL
injuries and an injury report must be written; these
forms will be kept at the concession stand.
4. No Glass Containers, of any variety, will be
allowed on the premises.
5. No Animals will be permitted in the pool area;
with the exception of working dogs.
6. All persons on the pool premises will be required
to adhere to all pool rules as posted and the penalties
therein. The Pool Manager (LVCA President) can suspend
and/or revoke pool privileges for the violation of any
rules or regulations.
7. The baby pool is only for children age five (5)
and under; no one age six and above (6+) should be in
the water. All children using the baby pool must be
directly supervised by an adult who must remain beside
the pool at all times.
8. Young children must wear Little Swimmer-type
diapers or diapers with a secure-fitting plastic cover.
If a child defecates in the pool, the parent/guardian
may be fined up to $300, per incident, for the cost of
additional chemicals needed.
9. The Pool is not a babysitting service. Parents
will be called to pick-up any child who is too young to
be at the pool by themselves or who does not follow the
rules. Extreme behavior may result in suspension of all
pool privileges.
10. Proper Swimwear is Required. Shorts, cut-off
shorts, and undergarments are Not allowed (for males or
females) in the pool. This is a family-friendly facility
and as such, overly revealing swimwear will not be
allowed (a cover-up will be required to be worn over any
such suit).
11. Violence, the use of profanity, and improper
conduct will result in the suspension and/or revocation
of privileges. Weapons, of any type, are strictly not
allowed. The Leon Valley Police Department will be
contacted, if necessary.
12. Any concerns, complaints, or grievances should be
directed, in writing, to the President of the LVCA's
Board of Directors for resolution; these forms will be
kept at the concession stand. Members may discuss these
items at the LVCA’s Board Meetings.
