Basket Bunny
Basket Bunny wall hanging or crib quilt: This elegant yet whimsical
quilt is shown in pastels, and mixes reproduction fabrics with more
modern prints. Anything goes in this piece which uses a variety of
techniques including paper piecing, fancy machine stitching, regular
piecework, and either hand or machine appliqué. There are 12 pieced
blocks, plus 5 appliqué blocks, and a braided ribbon embellishment,
which create an interesting and varied work of fabric art for the wall
or crib. Finished size is 42" X 50" and is perfect as is for a wall
hanging. The design can easily be increased with borders or a ruffle as
desired to fit a 45" X 60" crib. Available Spring 2010. |
