SOUTHWEST VISION Our Indian maiden faces East to the
rising sun. Her flowing hair and robe create movement as if she were
floating in the air. Each fold of her robe is a different vibrant
jewel tone, and her hair is several shades of black. The
asymmetrical border is done in varying jewel tones of flying geese
and diamonds which enhance the design motif. There is also a small
inner accent border. Complete instructions are included for both
hand and machine appliqué. Hanging tabs are optional on this

SOUTHWEST BIRD HOUSE |
SOUTHWEST BIRD HOUSE The southwest bird house stands sentinel over a
desert landscape. The adobe-style home, set against a sunset sky,
features a cactus on its deck and cheerful poppies at its base. The
yellow bird perches on the roof with berries in her beak, and is set
off by a red-orange accent strip and a pieced border of 3" squares.
Hanging tabs are optional on this V-shaped banner, which measures
approximately 19" x 31". Instructions include both hand and machine
appliqué methods. |

BIRDS 'N BUDS This cutwork design of hummingbirds and flower
buds is depicted in green and red on a beige background of pieced 2"
squares. A thin red inner border sets off the design motif.
Including the outer pieced border, this wall quilt measures

KOKOPELLI KUTWORK Our Kokopelli is a tasteful rendition of a
traditional Southwest Indian figure of the dancing flute player. It
is a cutwork appliqué design which can be accomplished by hand or on
the machine. The delectable mountain border is the perfect
embellishment for this simple motif which finishes at 22 1/2"
square. Thorough instructions make this pattern ideal for the early
intermediate to advanced quilter. |
